On 10th September 2020 ,Youth Congress Nepal organized awareness discussion program on world suicide prevention day with the theme " Working together to prevent Suicide". This program was moderated by Ms. Nishma Dhungana Choudhary and Dr. Ritesh Thapa shared his valuable input on mental health and suicide prevention.

On the occasion of the Birth anniversary of B. P Koirala , Youth congress Nepal organized a discussion program on 10th September 2020. It was moderated by Mr. Binod Deuba Thakuri and Political analyst. Mr Hari sharma presented his perspective and his experience on the topic "Socialism of B.P in 21st Century".

Necessary Management Measures of Covid Pandemics and Role of Government and Opposition In National Perspective

Udhyamsheel Congress & Youth Congress Nepal jointly organized a discussion program on 29th of August 2020 on the topic "Necessary Management Measures of Covid Pandemics and Role of Government and Opposition In National Perspective". It was moderated by Mr. Aswin Sitaula whereas Mr. Pradip Poudel, Central committee Member of Nepali Congress and Dr. Sameer Mani Dixit, Public Health Scientist were present as guest speakers and shared their views regarding necessary management of covid Pandemics and role of Government and opposition in National Perspective.

Time for Youth in Leadership

Youth Congress Nepal Tanahun, organized a three day (27th Aug-29th Aug 20220) empowerment session on the topic, "Time for Youth in Leadership ". It was moderated by Rajesh Kumar Shrestha. President and Life coach at Jiwan Vigyan Kendra, Mr. L.P Bhanu Sharma ,Member of Nepali Congress policy research and Investigation Institute Mr. Pramod Hari Guragain , Chairperson of Nepali congress Dhading-1, Mr. Krishna Rijal and National Coordinator of Youth Congress Nepal, Mr. Sachin Timalsena shared their valuable knowledge, skills and perspectives on life, career , youth and politics.

Youth and Poetry for change

Youth Congress Nepal organized poetry recitation program on the occasion of international Youth Day on the title "Youth and Poetry for change" on 12th Aug 2020 Which was moderated by Mr. Mahesh Dulal and conducted via Zoom. Ms Sujata Gurung, Mr, Ojaswi Acharya, Mr. Mohit joshi , Mr, Binod Deuba Thakuri and Mr. Abhijit Adhikari recited the poems in different socio-political topics and tried to express and address the current ongoing issues in Nepal.

Books and Stationery distribution Program

In any crisis, especially in the current pandemic, the citizens expect utmost honesty, efficiency, planning and transparency from the government. Lack of proper plans to cap the mounting cases of Covid- 19, smell of corruption in the government’s hands and other unjustifiable comments put by the ruling government and NCP co-chairman, led to a youth-led street protest ‘Enough is Enough’ in Kathmandu which snowballed nationally. YCon, having one of its major objectives to be a watchdog of the government activities to ensure good governance, actively participated in the protest.

In this state of crisis, Udhyamsheel Congress and Youth Congress Nepal jointly organized a panel discussion on the topic of "Covid-19 and its Impacts on Private schools in Nepal" on 24th July 2020. It was moderated by Mr. Aswin Sitaula where as Mr. DK Dhungana , the Co-chairman PABSON , Mr. Subash Neupane , Secretary NPABSON honor were present at our program as guest speakers.

In this state of crisis, Udhyamsheel Congress and Youth Congress Nepal jointly organized a panel discussion on the topic of "Covid-19 and its Impacts on Entrepreneurship in Nepal" on 18th July 2020. It was moderated by Mr. Aswin Sitaula where as Mr. Sixit Bhatta, the CEO and a Co-Founder of Tootle, Mr. Karma Tenzing, an allround entrepreneur and Ms. Samiksha Rai, the President of Nepalese Young Entrepreneurs Forum (Kathmandu Chapter) were present as our guest speakers.
